We booked online yesterday at 7:02pm. The movie started at 7:05.

We didn't realize we booked wrong date suppose to be today.When we found we made a mistake we emailed to the company. Until now we didnt get any answer. So we called customer service the lady said the movie already over we can get refund. We told we dont want get refund we just switch to today.

She said under the policy, She can't do it. We are very upset, we knew we made a mistake but company online ticket still sale the ticket even though the movie was started without any remind customer.

They have no need to know all your info to get prices. They also don't answer the phone.

Disapointed and wouldn’t want anyone to deal with what we dealt with . Our daughter party was a disapointment and management didn’t care . Poor custumer service

Dear Cineplex Management,

We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to express our disappointment regarding our child's birthday party that took place recently at your venue.

Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations for several reasons.

Firstly, we encountered delays in receiving responses to our emails leading up to the event, which caused significant stress in the planning process. We also encountered a delay in receiving confirmation on the start time of the movie. This uncertainty ultimately impacted our ability to send out invites in a timely manner, resulting in several children being unable to attend.

We would greatly appreciate if you could consider this feedback as a way to improve communication moving forward.

Also, on the day of the party, the organization was lacking, and we did not have a proper host to assist us, leaving us feeling overwhelmed and unsupported.

Additionally, we were informed at the last minute that the Moana themed combos we had been eagerly anticipating were unavailable. This was especially disheartening for the children, especially our little one, who were excited about the theme, and it impacted their overall enjoyment of the party.

We believe that with better communication and organization, these issues could be avoided in the future.

I hope you take this feedback into consideration to improve the experience for other families.

Overall, given the circumstances, we also feel that we should not be charged the full price for the party.

It would be fair to receive some form of discount to account for the inconvenience.

Terrible Customer Service and Misleading Digital Rental Promotion

I recently had a frustrating experience with Cineplex that I feel compelled to share. After purchasing food at one of their theaters, I received an email offering a free digital rental as a promotion.

However, nowhere in the email was I directed to read any terms and conditions that stated certain films were excluded from this offer.

When I tried to use the promotional code, the system allowed me to download the movie with no indication that I would be charged. Naturally, I assumed everything was fine and watched the movie. However, when I checked my credit card statement, I was shocked to see that I had been billed for the rental. This was incredibly confusing, as I believed the movie was included in the promotion.

I reached out to their customer service team to clarify the situation, only to be told that since I had already watched the movie, there was nothing they could do.

I also mentioned that the quality of the movie was poor, but I hadn't complained earlier because I thought it was free. Instead of offering any sort of solution or empathy, the representative dismissed my concerns.

To make matters worse, after escalating the issue to a supervisor, I sent the terms and conditionswhich felt like a bit of a low blow given the circumstances. Its important to note that one of the customer service reps, Sarah, was particularly unhelpful and lacked any understanding of the situation.

In an attempt to escalate the matter further, I was given an email address to request someone to reach out to me. However, when I used the email, I discovered it was only for advertising inquiries!

Nowhere online could I find another email address or contact method to resolve my issue, leaving me even more frustrated.

Overall, this experience has left me incredibly disappointed.

The misleading promotion, poor customer service, and lack of proper contact information were all unacceptable. I wont be using their services again and would caution others to be very careful if they decide to do so.
